Admissions
Jade is currently on maternity leave.
Wild Hearts will reopen in September 2026.

Opening Times
We operate year-round and are open for 46 weeks out of the year, closing for two weeks over Christmas and four weeks in the summer.
Our full day is 8:45am - 4:45pm.
We also offer a shortened day of 9am-3pm.
We accept government funding to subsidise childcare costs, as well as Tax Free Childcare.

Wait List
We operate a needs-based wait list, prioritising children for whom larger nursery or childminding settings would not be suitable.
To register your interest in Wild Hearts, please complete our Expression of Interest form, linked below. Please note that completion of an EOI does not guarantee your child a space, as we operate with very low ratios of 1:2 or 1:3

Specialist Provision for 3 & 4 Year Olds
Unfortunately, we cannot accept the funded hours in full for 3 and 4 year olds as the Council's funding rates are based on the significantly higher ratios that nursery settings operate under. We maintain a ratio of 1:2 or 1:3 to ensure continuity of care and to maintain the same level of responsive, attuned care provided in the infant years.
It is generally our goal to help a child work towards attending a larger group setting (at least part time) from age 3, unless it is unsuitable for them to do so. This will be decided based on assessments of the child's development and conversations between Jade and the child's parents.
If you wish your 3 year old to continue at Wild Hearts, either part-time or full-time, then the funding breakdown will be as follows:
-
2 full days minimum attendance per week
-
Government funded hours will be accepted for 1 full day per week (8 hours)
-
Additional days will be charged at the private fee rate (outlined above)
More detail can be found in our Admissions Policy [currently unavailable while we update it].
